Writing was something I found myself returning to often, whether it was through anime fan-fiction written in composition notebooks, a childhood essay written on corporate employee safety, or half-finished notes on my phone.

My writing stems from questions I ask myself, that I then take you on a journey of exploring the answer to. I’m not afraid to “go there”, but I don’t leave it there, always ending on a note that refreshes and empowers. I pull on my decade of experience in international education as well as my wealth of personal experiences living in one big city (New York City) and moving to another (Tokyo).

When I’m not hanging out with my equally nerdy husband, I enjoy traveling, watching cooking shows, and walking around green spaces.
