Monique Bae (née Bloomfield) is a writer of poetry and short prose. Her writing stems from a universal question that she asks herself, that she takes readers on a journey of exploring the answer to. She’s not afraid to “go there”, but she doesn’t leave it there, always ending on a note that refreshes and empowers. She pulls on her decade of experience in international education as well as her wealth of personal experiences. She lives in Tokyo, Japan with her husband and is a member of the Society for Writers, Editors, and Translators (SWET).
